TARA is a member of the City Centre Action Group, which brings together the two largest – and neighbouring – city centre residents associations to address issues of common concern.
TARA is joined in this Group by the Pulteney Estate Residents Association (PERA) and we hold regular meetings with Council cabinet members, council officers and the business community to ensure that their plans and decisions are informed by the views and needs of Bath city centre residents. TARA is also a member of FOBRA, the Federation of Bath Residents’ Associations.
In addition to co-operating with other Residents Associations, TARA liaises directly with the city’s ward councillors and a number of organisations active in the city centre, including:
- Bath Business Improvement District (BID)
- Bath Preservation Trust
- Bath Festivals
- Bath Film Office
- Bath Student Community Partnership
- Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution (BRLSI)
together with a broad range of city centre charities.
